Core Requirements

The EForge core has the following dependencies:

• Python 2.6 or later
• Django 1.1 or later (1.2 recommended)

Additionally, the following components are shipped as part of EForge and do not need installing separately:

• jQuery and jQueryUI

Some of the available plugins have their own requirements:

Wiki Plugin

• TCWiki wiki engine
• The Python Creole Parser

Issue Tracker

At present the issue tracker has no external dependencies

Source browser

The source browser does not use any external dependencies on its own; however, to be functional it must be equipped with a VCS plugin

Git Plugin

The Git plugin requires the Dulwich package

Mercurial (Hg) Plugin

The Mercurial plugin requires that Mercurial be installed. (Todo: Establish which version)
